Women’s Division I:
In a battle for the top stop in the frontier Women’s Division I competition, the Glendale Merlins D1 side welcomed the Utah Vipers into town. The game was a back and forth affair, with Glendale taking an early 10-7 lead, after 15 minutes. Utah closed out the half by stringing together three unanswered tries, for a 22-10 lead. Glendale attempted to climb back into the lead, but Utah continued to find a way to close the door on any opportunity the Merlins had. Glendale getting to within three with only 12  minutes remaining, but the Vipers scored two tries in three minutes to close out the game, 49-36.

Men’s Division II:

In an emotional rollercoaster, Boulder Rugby were able to earn an hard fought victory against the Denver Barbarians, 25-24. Boulder played a brilliant first 20 minutes to establish a strong 12-0 lead. The Barbarians fired back to take the lead in the 43rd minute. That didn’t last long as Boulder retook the lead thanks to a try and a penalty in the 50th and 57th minute, respectively. However, a try in the 70th minute and a penalty in the 79th looked to have given the Barbarians enough breathing room to see the match out. Boulder had other plans. With time expired, Ruaidhri Wintersgill crossed over for a try and to hand Boulder a one-point victory.

Women’s Division II:

The competition wasn’t as close in Women’s Division II play, as the Kansas City Jazz continued to reign supreme over their conference foes. On this occasion the Jazz beat the Kansas Bison, 87-0. The Jazz’s two wings played outstanding games, Katelyn Sanders scored six tries and Amanda Hull scored four.

Men’s Division III:

Sunday Morning Rugby won their Mid-America Division III semifinal against the St. Louis Ramblers, in a high scoring 49-39 affair. Sunday Morning fell behind early, but two converted tries five minutes before the end of the half saw them sneak in front, 28-22. St. Louis drew first blood in the second half, but Sunday Morning remained too strong and surged back with 16 unanswered to reestablish their lead. The ramblers cut back in but it was not enough. The other semifinal saw Springfield Rugby take on the Columbia Outlaws. What looked to have been a comfortable win for Springfield turned into anything but. With half an hour remaining on the clock, the Outlaws trailed by 21. However, two tries in the final ten minutes brought them back into the game. Unfortunately for the Outlaws it was too little too late, and Springfield held on to win.

In the Rocky Mountain Men’s Championship, the Queen City Rams dominated the Laramie Lumberjacks, 60-19, to continue their perfect season.

Men’s Division IV:

Marauders Rugby were able to secure away win against the Northern Colorado Flamingos D4, 34-14.
