LAFAYETTE, CO - For the 2017/18 season, over 200 student athletes have been selected to the USA Rugby Academic Honor Roll in celebration of their outstanding achievements inside the classroom and on the rugby pitch.
There is a wide array of student athletes chosen, with those selected representing schools at all levels of competition from the top of D1 through to teams in the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO).
To be picked for this prestigious list there are several requirements that the athlete must meet. The players must be a Sophomore in standing, they must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and they must have been on their school's top side as either a starting or a reserve for at least half of the team's matches.
As USA Rugby enters the seventh year of recognizing the outstanding talent, both academically and athletically, of these hard-working dedicated students they will now join the list of more than 1,750 collegiate students acknowledged.
