With social media acting as a hand-held home for all sports, USA Rugby has launched two new dedicated Instagram channels designed to bring fans closer to their favorite USA Eagles stars.
With the launch of @usaeagles and @usaeagles7s - USA Rugby is expanding its online presence to better spotlight the identities, competitions and personalities of the USA Eagles and USA Eagles Sevens National Teams. The existing @usarugby channel will similarly evolve to bring increased coverage to the USA Rugby community and domestic competitions.
The new accounts will provide specialized coverage of USA National Teams, focusing on relevant team updates and content to ensure fans can clearly identify news and updates based on the team and individual storylines. As all four Senior National Teams and the large network of Junior National Teams continue to grow their competition calendars, the individual channels help fans identify the competitions and gain a deeper connection with each of the USA Eagles teams.
Starting today, you can connect with your favorite Eagles across three distinct accounts:
The home for the USA Men’s and Women’s Eagles Sevens National Teams as they embark on their journey to LA28 and beyond. Follow both squads as they travel to the upcoming stops of the SVNS World Championships while showcasing the speed, athleticism, and fast paced action the sevens game offers.
Dedicated to USA Men’s and Women’s Eagles XVs National Teams. This channel will host comprehensive coverage of 15’s Test matches, international tours, and squad announcements, highlighting players as we build towards the 2027 & 2029 Rugby World Cups in Australia as well as the 2031 and 2033 Rugby World Cups that will be hosted on US soil.
The flagship channel will remain the central hub for club rugby, youth and community initiatives, college championships, and general organizational updates, while signposting highlights and updates intermittently about USA National Team activity.
