- Purpose is to drive policies that increase diversity through the USA Rugby Community.
- Asking for nominations for members of the USA Rugby D&I Committee.
- Nominations must be submitted using this form by August 5, 2019 to be considered
PURPOSE OF THE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION COMMITTEE
To increase diversity and inclusion across the entire USA Rugby Community, prompting training and events to bring awareness in the various workplaces of USA Rugby. The committee will actively work together to create meaningful policies promoting diversity and inclusion, both in the employee and volunteer facets of the organization, along with the greater community as a whole.
USA Rugby Human Resources Manager, Charlotte Garbisch will interview and select members of the D&I committee along with two representatives from the Board of Directors. All final candidates will be put forth to the Board of Directors for final approval. We are asking you to nominate your fellow rugby peers to represent the rugby community on this committee.
Requirements of members:
- Must be a currently active member of USA Rugby.
- Must be available for quarterly meetings.
- Must exemplify the core values and guiding principles of USA Rugby.
