USA Rugby is excited to announce the return of Training & Education super weekends with a Development Summit co-hosted with the Northern California Rugby Football Union (NCRFU) and Rugby NorCal, November 5-6, 2022.
A fantastic opportunity for coaches, referees and administrators at all levels of the game to come together while learning and sharing their knowledge with others. Hosted at Sacramento State University in Sacramento, CA, the Summit will be run in partnership with USA Rugby partner and digital coaching curriculum , The Rugby Site, who will be filming sessions and assisting in providing expert presenters. USA Rugby Director of Training & Education, Jamie McGregor noted, “This is very exciting for us as we venture back to co-hosting larger development summits with so much of the course load on offer at once. Events like these truly offer a unique experience with our primary certifications available, but also a fantastic environment where multiple stakeholders come together to produce a positive experience. Multiple World Rugby courses will be held in person, including: World Rugby Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching, World Rugby Level 1 and Level 2 Refereeing, USA Rugby Level 1 Coach of Match Officials and USA Rugby Level 1 Strength and Conditioning. These courses are all available for registration on the USA Rugby Learning Center. For coaches and referees who are already accredited, there will be continuing education sessions held on a variety of topics, where you can attend any session you wish across the two days.

On Saturday night, food & drinks (own cost) will then be held at Sac Yard from 6pm with all attendees welcome to attend.
