Ringgenberg Newest USAR Board Member

USA Rugby would like to congratulate the newest member of the USAR Board of Directors, Christy Ringgenberg.  Ringgenberg will fill the "International Athlete' position vacated by Jen Joyce.   Ringgenberg is a current member of the Women's National Team and competed in the 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup.  She currently works in education in her home state of Minnesota.

"USA Rugby has made some positive changes to raise the level of rugby at all levels,' said Ringgenberg.  She believes that improvements can be made in order to make USA Rugby "a more marketable product for the American public.'

Ringgenberg hopes to achieve several goals in her new position which align with the USA Rugby's strategic objectives.  Among the goals is a desire to increase value in service to USA Rugby's members, increase sponsorships, and help develop youth and coaching development programs.

Ringgenberg assumes her role immediately and will serve a two year term.
