Eastside Tsunami hosted Boise United for the one game PNRFU championship. In a defensive battle, Eastside scored early but allowed Boise a try just before half to make it 7-5 at the break. Following a Tsunami penalty kick and subsequent United try, the score was knotted at 10 until late in the game. Despite being a man down due to a yellow card, Boise managed a converted try to go up by seven. With less than 2 minutes left in the match, Eastside would score a try but fail to convert and thus give the championship to Boise, 15-17.
The Olympic Club, their first year of division II play, were able to secure the Northern California title, after winning a close match against Santa Rosa Rugby, 38-30. Olympic took the lead in the first three minutes of the game and kept it until the 47th minute. Santa Rosa snuck ahead by one, courtesy of Jerome Loti, converting Niko Momoka's try. This was short lived; as it only took Olympic three minutes to reclaim the lead. They will now face Boise United in the Pacific North Championship match.
