Charlotte Caslick is Australia’s longest-serving women’s Rugby 7s players in history with a decade-long career spanning over 300 games prior to her commitment of playing 15s in 2025 in a bid to play at the Rugby World Cup.

Caslick grew up a touch footballer in Stanthorpe before transitioning to Rugby 7s and making her debut for Australia in 2013 after graduating at Brisbane State High School.

Australia’s second all-time leading try-scorer in Sevens history, Caslick made history in 2016 as part of the gold medal winning Australian team that defeated New Zealand in the final in Rio.

She was influential in leading the charge to overall series titles in 2015-16, 2018, 2022 and more recently 2023-2024 season, winning the Madrid SVNS Grand Final.

Widely regarded as the world’s best rugby 7s player, Caslick is signed with Rugby Australia until at least the end of 2026.

In 2025, Caslick joined the Queensland Reds, making her Super Rugby Women’s debut against NSW. She joined the Wallaroos squad in April to begin her career in the XVs national side.

She made her Wallaroos debut against Fijiana in Suva on May 3, coming off the bench for the Australian side. Caslick then filled in on the wing against New Zealand and USA before a move to inside centre against Canada.

An unfortunate leg injury sidelined Caslick for the Rugby World Cup in England, cruelling her dream to play in the women's event.

Off the field Caslick runs a cattle farm in Queensland.
